Everyone has to get off the "refs screwed us" bandwagon. The refs are going to give stars the benefit of the doubt. It is the reality of the situation. The Isles need to stop giving the refs reasons to call penalties. They can't compete with the Pens on special teams. The Isles have gotten some calls too and can't score on the PP. The penalty killing has been bad. But 5 on 5, the Isles are more than holding their own. If the Isles stop taking penalties, they can win tonight and then its a best of three. Who knows what happens then. |
